Founded by Michael Carey, Stock & Trade Design Co. was created in 2012, within a 1,000 sq. ft. showroom in Birmingham, Alabama. Michael’s love for furniture and design was born from a passion for real estate and construction. Now 10 years later, Stock and Trade is growing strong with 5 retail stores, a growing social media presence and solid business to business relationships within our communities. We are now poised for our next stage, the development of an unparalleled retail design program.
The launch of our interior design program will be instrumental in the growth of Stock and Trade Design Co. The project manager will play an important role in our future. This role will be responsible for supporting all operational aspects of the design project.
The role will be based out of Santa Rosa Beach, Fl. and will report to the Gallery Leader.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients
- Sourcing product
- Developing relationships with vendors
- Building presentations and quotes
- Creating invoices and submitting purchase orders
- Managing the customer service of projects, ensuring timely deliveries
- Collaboration with all business partners to enhance our client experience
- Ensure standards and policies are being followed
- Retail gallery support if needed
- Travel for site visits and project installations
Job Requirements
- Project management experience 3 years minimum with a strong technical background
- Goal oriented and proven history of meeting deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong time management and communication
- Ability to flex to needs of business and be solution oriented
- Google applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is preferred
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Driver’s License is Required
- Physical ability to support the design installation and servicing showroom needs
