What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Clerk position at Stockman's Casino?
This position is established to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed consistently throughout Stockman’s Casino in order to safeguard its assets and verify the accuracy and reliability of its accounting data.
- Performs daily audit of all revenue departments. This includes Cage, Vault, Pit, Keno, Coffee Shop, Steakhouse and Bar;
- Verify balances, writing exceptions as needed, investigating variances, documenting adjustment and complying with all rules and regulations;
- Inputting the Daily Revenue into excel spreadsheets, verifying balance, inputting the information into a Journal Entry for posting and ensure that all paperwork has the appropriate backup and documentation;
- Performs collection duties on returned checks and processes the necessary paperwork which could include certified mail and official police documents;
- Performs certain Accounts Payable functions;
- Performs certain payroll functions as directed by the Accounting Manager;
- Performs Table Game Soft Count when needed;
- Works with Oasis System and Aristocrat Support team;
- Accurately records all W-2’s collected from the Cage/Vault in an Excel spreadsheet and sends the final report to the IRS at the end of the year;
- All team members are required to clock in and out on the facial scan system;
- Cross-train in all related fields within the Accounting Office so that all duties can be completed during team member’s days off or vacation;
- Other duties as assigned.
