What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Cocktail Server- Graveyard Shift position at Stockman's Casino?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
(Includes but not limited to the following)
- Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar.
- Takes drink orders from guests, food servers and cocktail servers.
- Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
- Mixes ingredients for cocktails and serves wine and bottled or draft beer.
- Rings drink orders into register, collect payment and makes change.
- Correctly entering all comps drinks and following Stockman’s procedures regarding any comp drinks.
- Sell change to slot players as needed.
- Wash and sterilize glassware and prepare garnishes for drinks.
- Adheres to all gaming rules and regulations involved with Stockman’s change bank.
- Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes.
- Must possess basic math skills and have ability to handle money.
- May be required to run Cocktails during your shift taking care of the guests on the gaming floor.
- Assist in Jackpot signature as needed.
- Be very aware of over serving our guests. All team members will be required to take the TIPS CLASS when available. Until you are TIPS trained if you think a guest is over the limit and becoming intoxicated ask a team member or Supervisor to evaluate the situation if you are unsure.
