Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. Initial compensation will be based on experience with an opportunity to grow each year.
Duties
- Lead the planning and implementation of construction projects, ensuring all phases are executed efficiently.
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and detailed work plans while ensuring adherence to contract specifications.
- Manage project schedules using tools such as Primavera and Microsoft Pojects to track progress and adjust timelines as necessary.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and owners for the project execution.
- Monitor project performance against established benchmarks and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to communicate updates, address challenges, and foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Excel, Adobe, Primavera, and Microsoft Projects.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to construction projects.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
