What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Stockton's Paint?
Our locally owned Benjamin Moore paint store is opening a new location! We are looking to hire fantastic, customer oriented sales associates. Job duties would include but not limited to helping customers decide on the best paint colors for their home, and the right paint and supplies for their project. Associates will also be trained to tint paint, color match paint, run deliveries and sell wallpaper and blinds. Normal housekeeper duties such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and putting away stock is also expected. Candidates must have a valid WA state drivers license, a good driving record, be able to easily lift at least 70 LBS, be able to work a flexible schedule with hours varying between 7:30am-5:30pm Monday through Saturday. Full and Part time options available. People with attendance issues need NOT apply. This is a fast paced environment and sales associates will be expected to multitask and adapt to the needs of our customers quickly. We will hire people with energy and positive attitudes only. Paint experience is preferred but we would be willing to train the right person if they have traditional retail experience.
