Stokes Fish Company has exciting opportunities for experienced sales representatives! We are currently looking for energetic talent to help us continue to expand our customer base, to manage and develop sales of fresh and frozen wholesale seafood.
Stokes Fish Company is a growing 91-year-old seafood wholesaler specializing in quality fresh and frozen seafood. We are currently seeking an experienced Seafood Sales Professional to join our successful Central Florida based team. The ideal candidate will be a vibrant team player who is results-driven and a self-starter with a desire to succeed. We are looking for a closer who is customer service oriented, not an order taker.

As a Seafood Sales Professional your key duties will include:
- Maintaining and driving new sales over the phone by garnering new accounts across the United States, developing new business and closing deals.
- Building your own account portfolio and developing long-term relationships founded on trust.
- Initiating phone calls, building rapport and orchestrating follow up calls with buyers, purchasing managers and decision makers in various segments of the Wholesale Seafood industry.
- Hands on assisting in expediting inventory check-in and shipping of product, including doing quality inspections of seafood from all over the world.
- Navigating through computer systems, processes and procedures.
Requirements
Seafood Sales Professional Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years sales experience.
- Demonstrate proficient writing, computer, phone sales and customer service skills.
- Live within a reasonable driving distance to Leesburg, Florida (or be willing to relocate).
- Be a self-motivated team player who can multi-task and work under moderate supervision.
- Be a high school graduate, some college is preferred.
We offer performance-based compensation – a competitive salary plus quarterly commissions based on achievement of sales goals and company growth, plus health benefits and incentive bonuses. Being bi-lingual in Spanish, as well as familiarity and/or certification in HACCP, and experience in seafood sales would be a big plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Base Salary Plus Commission
Pay: $45,000 base salary per year, plus quarterly commission based on sales that ranges from an additional $15,000 to over $50,000/year.
