Dishwasher - Full Time with Benefits

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our team at Stoltzfus Meats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen and production areas. This role is crucial for ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and meets all health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing: Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Cleaning: Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and recyclables; ensure trash bins are regularly emptied and cleaned.
• Stock Management: Assist with organizing and restocking cleaning supplies and dishware as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support Team: Provide general support to kitchen staff as needed, including helping with food preparation and basic tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a dishwasher or cleaner in a food service or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and perform cleaning tasks efficiently. Basic understanding of sanitation and safety procedures.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks related to cleaning and dishwashing.
• Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
