POSITION PURPOSE:
Supervises daily operations and personnel of bank office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three to five years of experience in branch management administration, mortgage, consumer or commercial lending, or finance and marketing.
- Supervisory and managerial experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Adequate previous experience required to perform supervisory duties and cross-sell services.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Oversees daily operations of branch to ensure standard operating procedures are followed; maintains security controls to protect facility from criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure.
- Performs supervisory functions of measuring performance, disciplining, and training, making promotion and salary recommendations, hiring, terminating, assigning, and reviewing work.
- Establishes and helps to attain internal performance objectives for branch office business volume, deposits, and quality of audit reports.
- Provides and maintains a professional, business-like atmosphere within the branch office.
- Reviews staff members for formal performance evaluations and recommends salary adjustments.
- Counsels employees when needed. Coordinates staff training when needed.
- Calls on existing and prospective customers to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business.
- Represents bank in various civic and community functions to further enhance its image and develop additional business and relationships.
- Oversees preparation of monthly branch reports.
- Works teller window/drawer when necessary.
- Contacts customers to make inquiries into questionable activities, as Deposit Operations and/or BSA Officer deem necessary.
- Performs any and all other duties assigned by management for which the banker is qualified and physically able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Job Environment: Private office that opens directly into the lobby area of main branch. Must be able to concentrate with distractions.
- Equipment Used: computer and printer; telephone; copier.
- Physical Criteria: Sitting for extended periods of time, bending, lifting 5-10 lbs. Must be able to adequately hear and verbally communicate with customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
