Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Administrative Assistant at Stone Creek Club & Spa in Covington, LA. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, facilitating communication, offering executive assistance, and utilizing clerical skills to support the operations of the club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide follow-up and coordination support for the General Manager (GM) and Business Office Director.
- Facilitate club supply and equipment purchases, logistics, and errands.
- Organize and assist in creating club policies, protocols, procedures, and staff directives.
- Participate in and coordinate special events as needed.
- Maintain and organize club files, including general manager files, construction files, and archives.
- Provide Manager on Duty (MOD) coverage as needed.
- Assist with employee recognition programs and initiatives.
- Handle correspondence, thank-you notes, and follow-ups with members and the community.
- Assist with new employee orientation and hiring processes, including meet-and-greets, paperwork, and onboarding.
- Coordinate charitable initiatives and community outreach activities, including athletic events, health fairs, and corporate outreach.
- Perform accounting tasks to support business office operations.
- Manage mail, packages, and courier duties.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Approximately 3–4 evenings/nights and 2–3 weekend days per month to support events and club needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Experience in administrative roles is preferred.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
