What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Manager/Coordinator position at Stone Hollow Event Center?
We are looking for an Event Coordinator/Manger for a wedding and event venue in Vernal. This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to answering calls, responding to messages and inquiries, meeting potential customers and clients to do tours of the facility, booking events, sending clients information and invoices, managing contracts, scheduling setup and cleaning staff, scheduling additional staff as needed such as bar tenders, caterers, etc. They generally also meet the client at the beginning of the event and make sure the event is setup to the clients expectations etc. Occasionally you would be required to attend the event if the client requires assistance with coordination. This position also plans, markets, and manages our own events that we put on. This position does offer a somewhat flexible schedule. A great deal of this position can be done remotely, however it does require in person attendance at the facility when needed.
Applicant should have the following skills to apply. Excellent Customer Service skills. Punctual. Professional appearance, and interaction with clients. Highly organized. Self motivated, and able to work independently without close supervision. Knowledge of using social media, and other tools for marketing.
This position has an hourly base pay rate, as well as commissions and bonus's that are payed out on events that are booked.
