Stone Mart is one of Ohio’s largest surface material distributor with operations in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. On a consistent growth path to continue improving its customer service and delivery experience, Stone Mart is looking to expand its outside sales team. Our sales team is working every single day towards redefining excellence in customer service.
Our Business Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day service of our current customers and development of new business. You must also have exceptional customer relations skills, the ability to make a contribution in overall process improvements, and intellect to make recommendations that mutually reflect the best interests of our customers and Stone Mart alike. This position will demand the ability to prioritize job responsibilities, manage a portfolio of clients and provide day- to-day account management. Job will require most days on the road meeting with our fabricators.
Key Job Duties
- Set your own appointments with fabricators to present new inventory.
- Manage full sale cycle from lead generation to ongoing customer service.
- Communicate with and respond to fabricators on delivery exceptions, consignment needs and quality assurance
- Troubleshoot problems through to resolution, planning and recourse implementation as necessary.
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Qualifications
- Work Independently and be accountable for daily and monthly results metrics for appointments and sales
- Good verbal and written communication skills coupled with outstanding listening skills
- Competitive independent starter with a strong work ethic and resilient with rejection
- Team player attitude
- Proven B2B sales experience- - with the ability to maintain revenue goals
- Internet savvy and ability to use tablet or Laptop to view inventory and place orders.
- Hard working and self-motivated, with problem solving skills.
