Responsibilities
Under general supervision, provides support to designated customers to create orders and monitor process from PO creation through order delivery. Primary communications are over the phone, and most calls are basic and routine.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Processes standard orders based on customer requests.
- Checks on pricing and availability of products.
- Partners with shipping department to ensure timeliness in completion, and proactively reaches out to customers if there are any changes to the shipping schedule.
- Uses CRM and other systems tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. Orders processed are for singular parts and do not require internal consulting to address customer’s needs.
- Assists with warranty and replacing parts damaged upon receipt.
- Builds relationship with assigned customers.
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of related experience is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening skills. Ability to learn and understand technical terminology. Must be able to work in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment. Able to handle multiple tasks, stay organized, and focused on details. Requires limited knowledge of the organization, products, and / or services. Requires ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications.
