Assistant Director of Nursing / Staff Development Coordinator - Stone Rehab and Senior Living

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at our Stone Center for Living. Stone Rehab was voted Best Place to Work 2024.
Position Summary : The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the department to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. In addition, this position is responsible for assessing the educational needs of our staff.
Duties :
- Assist in determining staffing needs via screening and interviewing.
- Make written and oral reports / recommendations to the Director of Nursing as necessary concerning the operation of the nursing service department.
- Assist in developing methods and systems for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.
- Ensure that the competence of all staff members is assessed, maintained and improved continually.
- Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures in accordance with current rules and regulations.
- Participate in annual surveys.
- Maintain regulatory compliance in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality, person-centered care.

Hours : Monday - Friday 9-5 : 30
