Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in supporting Tutta Bella’s dual business model of brick and mortar and satellite concept restaurant operations and food manufacturing at our Culinary Innovation Hub. This role oversees the procurement, logistics, inventory management and supplier relationships to ensure efficient operations while balancing the highest standards of quality with cost management.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field. 
• 5 years of experience in supply chain management. 
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts. 
• Strong systems analysis and problem-solving skills. 
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytic tools. 
• Excellent communication and organization skills. 
• Commitment to sustainability and quality assurance. 
• Strong proficiency with Excel and other data management tools.
• Experience in restaurant operations or food manufacturing is preferred. 
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g. APICS, CSCP, or CPIM) is preferred. 
• Familiarity with culinary trends and ingredient sourcing for Italian or Mediterranean cuisine is preferred. 
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Procurement and Supplier Management:

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support restaurant and manufacturing operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve company objectives.

Inventory Management and Logistics:

• Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring optimal stock levels for both divisions.
• Manage logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Optimize warehouse operations and inventory flow to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Cross-Divisional Collaboration:

• Partner with culinary teams to forecast ingredient needs for restaurants and the manufacturing hub.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify and resolve supply chain challenges.
• Support new product development by sourcing innovative materials and managing the supply chain for pilot programs.

Operational Efficiency:

• Analyze supply chain performance data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Implement systems and tools to enhance transparency and efficiency across the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards across all operations.

Sustainability and Ethical Practices:

• Align supply chain strategies with Tutta Bella’s sustainability goals, sourcing responsibly and reducing environmental impact.
• Promote ethical practices in all aspects of supplier relations and procurement.
