Hourly Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hourThe purpose of the OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR is to assist the Operations Manager by overseeing the responsibilities of the operations departments.
Essential Job Functions
- Work with the Operations Manager to train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards.
- Monitors Guest Service Scores daily and takes action to improve guest satisfaction through training, coaching and problem resolution.
- Communicates with the Engineering Department regarding any maintenance requests from the guests.
- Communicates with the Housekeeping Department regarding guest rooms and requests.
- Manage daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth guest experiences.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Has full understanding of software system and assists with reservations and checking guests in and out of the hotel.
- Create specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
- Work as Manager on Duty, when necessary.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience.
Work Environment and Context
- Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
