Title: Workday Core HCM Module/Hybrid
Location : Houston, TX
Key Responsibilities
Manage and configure the Workday Core HCM system, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with HR processes. Collaborate with HR teams to identify system enhancements and process improvements that support business goals. Conduct regular audits of data integrity and perform data quality checks within the HCM system. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users to resolve issues related to the HCM system.
Create and deliver training sessions and materials for HR staff and employees on the Workday system.
Monitor system updates and enhancements, providing recommendations to improve user experience.
Work with IT and external vendors to implement system integrations and updates.
Lead projects that involve configuration changes or new functionality within the Workday system.
Assist in the development and execution of test plans to validate system changes.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of Workday functionality, particularly in relation to HR compliance and reporting.
Collaborate with change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades.
Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and assess system effectiveness in meeting user needs.
Analyze system usage and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and other departments to support overall HR technology strategy.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in HRIS management, with a focus on Workday HCM.
Proficient in Workday Core HCM functionalities with certification preferred.
Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance regulations.
Experience in system configuration and data management.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Experience in developing and conducting training sessions.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in HR technology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Project management experience preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
