EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY AN INVITATION TO APPLY FOR THE POSITION OF SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS STONEHAM PUBLIC SCHOOLS, MASSACHUSETTS The Stoneham, MA School Committee invites future-focused, highly qualified candidates with an educational vision to apply for the position of Superintendent of Stoneham Public Schools. Stoneham, population 23,300, is a suburban community located nine miles north of Boston; its proximity to major highways and public transportation offers convenient access to Boston and the North Shore coastal region. Residents enjoy numerous recreational opportunities such as the 2575-acre Middlesex Fells Reservation with its miles of trails for walking, bike riding, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. The Tri-Community Greenway is a seven-mile trail that links Stoneham, Winchester and Woburn. Spot Pond allows boating and fishing, and the town has three golf courses – two municipally owned and one privately owned.
