Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead operations at our Library Lounge. This is a hands-on role for a dynamic hospitality professional with a passion for craft cocktails, exceptional service, and team leadership. The Bar Manager will be responsible for managing bar staff, maintaining inventory, curating beverage menus, and ensuring the guest experience is consistent with the high standards of Stonehurst Manor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Library Lounge bar.
- Hire, train, and manage bartenders and bar support staff.
- Develop seasonal beverage menus featuring classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service and a welcoming guest experience.
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders, and manage vendor relationships.
- Monitor and manage bar costs, including labor and product.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary and events team for special functions and promotions.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on hospitality excellence.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in bar management or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- TIPS certification
- Experience in high-volume, upscale environments.
