The Resident Health Services Manager indirectly supervises the direct care of Residents being provided by Resident Health Services employees, in order to maintain quality of care and services and compliance with Department of Social Services regulations for RCFE licensure. Assists Director to achieve high resident satisfaction by providing and/or coordinating supportive services during admission, level of care transitions and relocation. Collaborates with vendors and health care professionals to provide lectures and support groups for residential living.

What you will bring
Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse License or Registered Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing, or RCFE Certified
- Minimum three years’ experience working with seniors in long-term care, home health or other health care setting is preferable.
- Prior experience supervising others is preferred.
- Must have a passion for working with the elderly, possess strong analytical skills, and have strong customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for groups and individuals of different populations including persons with disabilities.
- Must have effective organizational skills including prioritization, delegation, managing multiple priorities, time management and problem-solving.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills including motivation and behavior change encouraging maximum independence and quality of life while encompassing emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual and vocational components of wellness and chronic disease management.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated and able to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision. Requires the use of good judgment and common sense in the performance of duties. Must be able to evaluate and respond to the needs of staff, clients, and others on a timely basis.
