Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our grocery store customer service team in delivering exceptional service and support. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service, while also managing the administrative aspects of the department. Candidate will also learn the daily bookkeeping for the Customer Service Desk.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the customer service department, ensuring all customer inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Train, supervise, and mentor customer service staff to enhance their skills in sales management and customer interaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Learn the daily bookkeeping for the service desk, and train other employees in the daily bookkeeping.
- Manage POS systems to streamline transactions and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a grocery store or retail environment.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in sales management, with a focus on achieving targets through excellent customer service.
- Leadership qualities that inspire team performance and foster a positive work environment.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases, but not necessary.
- Familiarity with POS systems is essential for managing transactions efficiently.
