Act as a liaison between the health system and area Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers. Serve as an advocate of the hospital with local, regional, and state EMS agencies. Assist with hospital disaster preparedness and serves as the Liaison with Emergency Management Coordinator. Assist with on-campus emergency preparedness. Assist in coordinating appropriate use of employed Techs and/or paramedics in hospital. Develops and implement a business plan, driving service line growth, and improving operations in terms of quality and processes. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring collaboration across all care settings within the facility as it relates to EMS and disaster preparedness. Responsible for the planning, organization, development and direction for the overall operation of the Security Department in accordance with and federal, state, and local standards and guidelines to assure that the highest degree of patient care is maintained at all times.

- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
