Description
The Manufacturing Line Specialist is responsible for performing duties on and off the production line related to preparation, manufacturing, and packaging of product in accordance with Stonewall Kitchen standards. Responsible for performing additional tasks that support the efficient running of the line.
JOB SUMMARY
1. Assist Line Operator with coordination of efficient running of production line.
2. May act as a mentor for new production associates.
3. Ensure that each phase of production line is supplied correctly (e.g., caps, glass, labels) are maintained.
4. Assists in troubleshooting equipment problems in coordination with manufacturing line operator and mechanic.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
6. Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift.
7. With adequate support, assist when manufacturing line operator is unavailable.
8. Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment, including food safety.
9. Perform other job duties as assigned
10. May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require.
11. Successfully follow Module 9, GMP, HACCP, and SOP policies and procedures
Requirements
1. High school education or equivalent.
2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time.
3. 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred or equivalent experience.
4. Ability to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks and fork lifts a plus.
5. Mechanical aptitude a plus.
6. Exhibit and promote Production Teamwork Guidelines.
