What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender - Weekend Wedding/Events position at Stonewood?
Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and looking to make some extra money on the weekend? Due to our continuous growth, Stonewood is seeking experienced part-time, event-based Bartenders to join our team! Bartenders must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have an extensive knowledge of various alcoholic beverages and spirits, and can recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
Schedule: Must be available to work at least one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday). Shift will start approximately 3:00pm, and will end between 10:00pm-2:00am.
Pay: $10.00/hour tips
Responsibilities:
- Always provide exceptional, friendly, and the highest quality service to all guests
- Display a professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Serve a variety of spirits following specific company recipes and standards, pour beer and wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Monitor the bar at all times and serve all patrons promptly
- Process payments and provide accurate change
- Follow all laws and regulations including verifying legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
- Clean dishes throughout the shift during downtime
- Closing duties including restocking, removing garbage, and assuring the bar area and items are clean and tidy
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of alcoholic beverages
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Exceptionally responsive
- Prior high-end/upscale serving experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Must have or be willing to obtain required licensing/certification
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand the entirety of an 8-10 hour shift
- Must be able to repeatedly bend, twist, squat, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
