Position Overview :
Do you have excellent customer service skills and a love for animals? We are looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. In this key role, you will help ensure that every visit runs smoothly and efficiently.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role :
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets.
- Check clients in and out, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and gather necessary medical history.
- Process invoices and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Determine and verify patient immunization and medical test status.
- Communicate with veterinarians and technical staff regarding patient arrivals and treatments.
- Assist with filling prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter product sales.
- Accurately input and maintain records in the Cornerstone software (preferred but not required).
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the hospital’s operations.
