Anticipated 1.0 Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)

LOCATION:

Eddy Elementary School and Stony Brook Elementary School

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

• Provide direct behavior services to students as indicated on their IEPs;
• Support staff in the creation of behavior support plans, data collection, and analyzing data;
• Conduct FBAs and other assessments as needed;
• Participate in the student IEP process as needed;
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and paraeducators and provide direction and training as needed; 
• Be Safety Care trained, actively utilize these strategies, and support staff by modeling and utilizing these interventions;
• Provide professional development around behavioral interventions;
• Collaborate with staff on substantially separate programs, including the ASD classrooms and therapeutic classroom, as well as general education students and settings;
• Participate in the pre-referral MTSS process as needed;
• Provide behavioral consultation to support general education students;
• Assist and support in developing PBIS structures, supports, and programming at both schools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed BCBA
• Experience working in special education
• Safety Care trained (the district can provide this training if needed)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

SALARY:

Individual contract, 185 days
