The FD will work with the Executive Director and department heads to prepare the annual budget and capital plan. The FD must be able to fulfill all obligations in compliance with New Jersey law and all relevant federal regulations.
Managerial skills and experience are a must. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships. NJ State CMFO and QPA certification is preferred but not required. C.P.A. is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field is preferred. A minimum of 3 – 5 years of finance experience is preferred. Experience with Edmunds GovTech Software is a plus. Strong computer literacy is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Salary will range from $90,000 to $130,000, depending upon qualifications.
