Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR professional Project Manager to assist in the automation of processes, transitioning from paper-based systems to electronic workflows using platforms like Smartsheet or Adobe. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in data cleanup to facilitate the seamless migration of clean data to new platforms and assist in establishing compensation salary scales for approximately 200 positions.
The selected candidate will work on site 5 days a week in Hampton Bays. This is a temporary position that may end at any time.

Duties of a Human Resources Project Manager can include but are not limited to:
Process Automation & Transition To Electronic Systems
- Lead the automation of paper-based processes, converting them to digital formats using Smartsheet, Adobe tools, and other relevant platforms.
- Identify and analyze current manual processes, propose automation solutions, and oversee the implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth adoption of new digital workflows.
- Manage data cleanup process, identifying and correcting discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors in current data sets.
- Ensure data is properly formatted, structured, and accurate before transitioning to new platforms.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure smooth data migration and integration to the new systems.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to analyze and establish compensation salary scales for approximately 200 positions.
- Research market trends and industry benchmarks to ensure the salary scales are competitive and equitable .
- Develop a framework for ongoing review and adjustment of compensation structures.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, leadership, and external partners to keep stakeholders informed about project progress.
- Provide regular status updates, highlight risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Document project plans, timelines, and progress reports to ensure smooth execution and adherence to deadlines.
- Create and maintain a central repository for project documentation and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems post-automation.
- Implement feedback loops to refine and optimize automated processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , HR, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong expertise in HR workflows, processes, and their strategic impact on organizational operations. Proven ability to optimize HR functions to drive efficiency and support business goals
- P rior experience in project management, with a focus on process automation and data management
- Previous experience with HRIS systems or compensation management platforms
- Strong familiarity with tools like Smartsheet, Adobe platforms, or similar automation tools
- Excellent data analysis and cleanup skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile)
- Proven experience in compensation planning or a solid understanding of salary benchmarking practices
- Knowledge of data governance best practices
