Junior Project Manager/Estimator

Responsibilities :

  • Review and analyze project plans, specification, contract drawings
  • Solicit pricing from approved subcontract vendors
  • Procure material
  • Assist / prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates
  • Perform take off of structural steel and miscellaneous steel projects
  • Establish a material list identifying size and quantity for each project
  • Create, review, track and manage submittals for projects
  • Manage customer expectations and provide excellent customer service

    • Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of structural steel experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Work Ethnicity
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision as well as work on a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Work productively and meet deadlines in timely manner
  • Excellent communications skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
  • Maintain organized project files, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.

    Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
