Job Description

Job Title : Level 1 Registered Nurse (RN) Nights

Job Specialty : RN MS (Medical-Surgical)

Job Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3x per week, with every other weekend (1900-0730)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Preferred 2 years of nursing experience and travel RN experience. Required 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility of similar size and level.

License : Current Registered Nurse License

Certifications :

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support, American Heart Association ONLY)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • Telemetry experience

Must-Have :

  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
  • Basic arrhythmia telemetry interpretation course certificate
  • No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
  • Not named as a defendant in a professional liability claim

  • Provide patient care with minimal orientation and supervision.
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments in acute care settings.
  • Perform and document skills in line with the specialty requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
  • Utilize Cerner Electronic Medical Records, preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent nursing skills and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in nursing practices and standards.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
