Asset Protection Associate

Asset Protection Associates are responsible for providing a secure destination to shop for our customers, a safe workplace for our associates and the protection of company assets for the ongoing success of our stores.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Investigating the loss of asset(s), including merchandise, money and property
• Preventing loss and shrink through monitoring CCTV surveillance and other LP tactics
• Ensure the safety and physical security for assigned store(s)
• Monitor and implement shrink reduction strategies
• Collect and investigate intelligence related to organized crime activity
• Conduct and assist with various store audits and inventories
• Interview internal and external theft suspects in accordance with local laws and company policies
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting all store incidents including all apprehensions and recoveries in a timely manner
• Complete detailed daily paperwork including daily checklists as well as online documents. File all paperwork in a neat, organized manner chronologically
• Preserving evidence such as CCTV footage in accordance to company policy
• Working alongside various law enforcement agencies and testifying in criminal court proceedings
• Respond to store emergencies such as power outages and refrigeration loss and assist the store as needed to reduce shrink

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be over the age of 18
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• 1 year of loss prevention experience, or other investigative work (preferred)
• Availability to work mornings, nights and weekends is required
• Willing to commute between multiple locations as needed

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
