Fleet Maintenance Mechanics
We're looking for skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanics to perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractor trailer semi units, maintain and repair equipment to operate a safe fleet, and ensure compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations.
- Preventive maintenance on all equipment, brakes, rear trailer doors, structural welding, tires, suspension, and axle work
- Electrical lighting and engine repair
The applicant must possess a DOT health card, have their own set of tools, and computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems. Vocational or Technical certification is preferred, and the ability to perform vehicle diagnostics with scan tools is required. A CDL is necessary, and the ability to attain CDL-A within 18 months is mandatory.
