Job Overview
This role would be at Stor-it Here Bonney Lake Self Storage. Job Duties
· Customer Assistance: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, both in-person and over the phone. Greet visitors warmly, answer inquiries, provide information about available storage units, and assist with rental agreements.
· Rental Process: Guide customers through the rental process, explaining unit sizes, rental rates, and lease terms. Complete rental agreements accurately, collect payments, and provide customers with access to their rented units.
· Unit Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of storage units to ensure they are clean, secure, and ready for rental. Clean units. Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any issues or repairs needed.
· Security Management: Enforce security protocols to protect the facility and customers' belongings. Monitor access to the property, ensure all gates and locks are secure, and address any security concerns promptly.
· Payment Processing: Handle customer payments, including rent payments, late fees, and additional charges. Maintain accurate records of transactions and follow up with customers as needed to ensure timely payments.
· Customer Communication: Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to address questions, resolve issues, and provide updates on account status or facility policies.
· Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products, such as moving supplies, insurance, or climate-controlled units, to meet customers' needs and increase revenue.
· Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining customer records. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to maintain a positive work environment, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or client support is required.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
