What are the responsibilities and job description for the BOOKKEEPER Hybrid/Remote position at Storage Asset Management?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reconcile entries to bank activity.
- Record bank activity to include distributions and other ACH deductions.
- File miscellaneous license reports and payments as assigned by the Property Accountant
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- This position is hybrid remote. In office scheduling requirements are determined by your Supervisor and are subject to change at anytime according to business needs.
Education and/or Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1-year previous accounting experience and ERP systems , NetSuite a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Work Hours: In a typical week, this position requires a minimum of 40 hours with regular and predictable attendance.
Work Environment: This work is usually performed indoors in an office environment with normal noise levels and no exposure to hazardous conditions.
