Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce company safety policies in alignment with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular job site inspections and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and field staff to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- This position will work in support of the Project team and be responsible for the project safety oversight
- Construction Safety Professionals that understand the “Teach, Coach, Train” concept of Safety Leadership will fit the best
- Complete and document safety audits of the job site each week to ensure compliance with all site-specific and corporate safety policies
- Investigate all incidents and safety hazards working closely with all management to bring them to a positive resolution
- Ensure that all recommendations for safety improvements are brought to the Site team and made in a timely manner
- Ensure that all company, site, and OSHA standards are adhered to
- Complete and submit all site safety documentation as required for the project
- Complete all necessary Safety documentation as needed
- Hands on training
- Fall protection
- Proper use of safety equipment
- Implement safety program and solution.
- Have the ability to connect with the crews.
- Inspections and Audits
- Minimum of 1 year experience in safety management within the construction industry.
- OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510/500 preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CSP or CHST are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
