Associate Attorney - Real Estate

Storage Corner Group, LLC (with affiliates, "Storage Corner Group" or the "Firm") is a boutique real estate investment group pursuing attractive risk-adjusted returns through tactical self-storage and light-industrial investments. Since 2015, the Firm has been capturing value by acquiring, aggregating and institutionalizing under-performing and under-appreciated properties in infill Mountain West MSAs with approximately 1 million square feet under management. The Firm has a vertically integrated operating platform that employs a hub-and-spoke approach to property management and portfolio creation, with investment, operations and property management professionals employed across California, Utah and Idaho.

Storage Corner Group is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney - Real Estate for immediate start, located in our Bay Area (Los Altos) corporate office. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to join our fast-growing and transactionally-active real estate investment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, due diligence, real property law, and corporate legal matters. This role offers the unique opportunity to combine real estate expertise with legal acumen to support Storage Corner Group’s continued expansion and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Real Estate Transactions:
• Draft, review, and negotiate letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other real estate contracts.
• Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions, including title reviews, zoning compliance, and environmental assessments.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel, brokers, escrow/title agents, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Legal Counsel:
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Oversee legal aspects of financing, joint ventures, fundraising and partnership agreements.
• Manage litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters as needed.
• Strategic Support:
• Collaborate with senior management to align legal strategies with business objectives.
• Support the development and execution of real estate investment strategies.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance and strategic advantage.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• 3 years of experience in real estate law, corporate law, or a related field.
• Experience in real estate transactions, strategy, escrow and/or title matters a plus.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
