What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Janitorial Worker position at Storage Master?
Storage Master is looking for a full-time (40 hours) energetic Maintenance/Janitorial worker who takes pride in their work. Looking to hire qualified applicant immediately Monday - Friday, 8:30-5:30. On call availability is a plus in the rare event that an emergency arises. Must be dependable, and trustworthy. Able to work with little direction. Capable of maintaining a clean and safe environment while completing all tasks. Our facility is highly favored by our customers, and friends alike. We want to keep that perspective. Job duties will include but are not limited to keeping empty units tidy, keep grounds clean of debris, sweep/mop/shine floors throughout facility to include office areas, light dusting of blinds and window seals as needed, keep trash can/shredders emptied daily, maintain rest rooms by cleaning/sanitizing throughout each day and replenish supplies as needed, keep elevators sanitized and smelling fresh, change air filters, replace light bulbs, cut locks when necessary, spray pesticides monthly and upon each tenant move-out, wash windows and dust unit doors throughout facility quarterly, spray weeds and pressure wash walkways/loading dock areas seasonally, and make small maintenance repairs when the need arises. Will also help maintain light cleaning of Penske trucks, place/remove furniture pads/hand trucks. Refuel Penske trucks as needed.

- Must have physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks to include standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to climb a ladder.
- Small maintenance experience required and Janitorial experience desired.
- References required.

Minimum starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Quality of work and dependability speaks volumes for future raises. Upon hire, will be evaluated within 90 days.
