What You’ll Do:
- Partner with subject matter experts to design top-notch training solutions that meet the team’s needs.
- Develop diverse, interactive training materials like e-learning modules, job aids, presentations, and manuals.
- Apply instructional design best practices to create content that’s not only engaging but super effective.
- Use e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline, etc.) to create dynamic, multimedia-rich content.
- Develop quizzes and assessments that measure learner retention and training success.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Juggle multiple projects with deadlines, delivering high-quality materials on time.
- Provide support and training for facilitators to ensure smooth delivery of training.
- Continuously improve materials based on feedback and data.
- Pitch in on broader team initiatives and occasionally participate in live training with staff.
- You’ve got a Bachelor’s in Instructional Design, Education, or something similar (Master’s is a bonus!).
- You’ve spent 3 years designing training, developing e-learning, or working in a similar role.
- You’re a pro with e-learning tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
- You understand adult learning principles and instructional design models like ADDIE and SAM.
- Your written and verbal communication skills are on point.
- You’re organized and can juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- You know your way around Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM standards.
- You’re familiar with virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams) and Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with video editing or graphic design tools.
- Certification in instructional design (nice to have!).
- A background in AI tools for instructional design.
- Fully Remote: Work from anywhere, with occasional travel for on-site meetings and training.
- Hybrid: Split your time between home and the office, with occasional travel for on-site training.
- On-Site in Columbia, MO: Join us in person at our headquarters (we love seeing our team in action!).
- Earn $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
