STORE Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking a team orientated, self starter with credit analysis experience to join our Portfolio Management team.
How you will contribute to STORE’s mission:
The Investment Analyst is part of STORE’s Portfolio Management team responsible for reviewing and analyzing tenant financial statements for STORE’s existing $15 billion portfolio and supporting the underwriting of new transactions. The Investment Analyst has strong organizational skills and is team oriented with exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
What Will Make You Successful (Qualifications)
- 0-4 years of work experience in commercial real estate or banking; at least 1 year of credit analysis preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Finance, and or related area required.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and or curriculum preferred.
- Ability to understand and interpret sophisticated corporate financial concepts, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
- Ability to think critically, prepare financial analysis and determine the creditworthiness of a company as a tenant
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with the capacity to work independently while possessing a team attitude and willingness to learn.
- Effective at time and task management
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize and deliver quality work under pressure.
What Most Days Will Include (Primary Duties)
- Support efforts to underwrite, negotiate and manage single-tenant-net-lease exposure across the United States, which includes the preparation of detailed investment memoranda and presentation materials to Senior Management.
- Analysis of property level and corporate financial statements for STORE’s existing customers as well as potential acquisitions.
- Form and communicate investment theses as well as strategies to mitigate any risks across tenants and industries.
- Work closely with Acquisitions, Real Estate, Special Servicing and Accounting teams.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management.
