Now Hiring: Buyer – Capital Expenditures (CapEx)
We are seeking an experienced Buyer with expertise in capital expenditures (CapEx), contract negotiations, and supplier management to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring cost-effective procurement of plant commodities, services, and capital equipment while maintaining compliance and optimizing supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Manage CapEx purchasing and supplier negotiations
🔹 Source and procure capital equipment, plant commodities, and services
🔹 Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to drive cost savings
🔹 Analyze and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and compliance
🔹 Work closely with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals
🔹 Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with ISO standards and company policies
🔹 Troubleshoot and resolve supplier discrepancies, warranties, and pricing issues
Qualifications:
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
✔️ 3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on CapEx and contracts
✔️ Experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial procurement (preferred)
✔️ Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, or other ERP systems
✔️ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
