Inside Sales Representative
Are you a driven and customer-focused sales professional with a manufacturing background? Storm Search is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to manage customer accounts, drive sales growth, and develop new business opportunities. This role requires a balance of hunting for new opportunities and providing exceptional service to existing clients. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity that offers a strong base salary plus excellent incentives and benefits day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by managing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries, process quotes, and close both contract and transactional sales.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for pricing, order status, quality, scheduling, and shipping.
- Proactively prospect, cold call, and generate leads to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery.
- Provide market insights, including pricing trends, competitor activity, and industry conditions.
- Support outside sales representatives with customer activity updates and sales insights.
- Maintain strong communication with plant personnel to ensure manufacturing requirements and customer needs are met.
- Show a commitment to learning and professional growth, with opportunities for advancement into a technical outside sales role.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Manufacturing industry experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a high energy level and the ability to work independently or within a team.
Additional Information:
- Minimal travel required for occasional client visits or industry events.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with applicable export/import regulations.
