Responsibilities
The Accounting department oversees the financial activities of the Company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for both internal and external purposes. Its key responsibilities include:
- Recording journal entries to accurately reflect all transactions and estimates necessary for complete and reliable financial data.
- Reconciling all balance sheet accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Preparing comprehensive financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, FERC guidelines, and other applicable standards, while also providing financial insights for internal management reporting.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Supporting regulatory compliance by accurately reflecting the financial impact of regulatory orders and actions in the Company's records.
- Contributing to the Company's strategic initiatives by providing accounting expertise, financial analysis, and business insights.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years' of General Ledger accounting experience.
- Public Accounting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA OR MBA preferred.
Salary : $79,000 - $90,000
