The Shutter Punchout Technician is responsible for performing final inspections, adjustments, and repairs on hurricane shutters to ensure proper functionality and customer satisfaction. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. The technician will collaborate with installation teams, follow company quality standards, and ensure all work meets safety guidelines. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and addressing their concerns on-site.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Conduct thorough inspections of installed shutters for defects or functionality issues.
Perform necessary adjustments, repairs, or replacements on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Document completed work and provide feedback to supervisor for process improvement.
Communicate with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Communicate regularly with the Scheduling Department

Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Technical experience in shutter installation, repair, or a related field.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and tools used in shutter installation.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
- High school diploma, GED or its equivalent
- Vailed driver license
- Must pass installer training
