Position Overview:
As an Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth, spearheading the discovery, pursuit, and closure of new business opportunities in the dynamic institutional finance and fintech sectors. Reporting directly to the CRO, you'll cultivate impactful relationships with asset managers, mid-sized hedge funds, and cutting-edge fintech platforms. Harnessing your extensive industry expertise and sales prowess, you'll craft bespoke solutions that not only meet but exceed client needs, playing a key role in the launch and success of a groundbreaking new product set to debut in Q2 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence within institutional finance and fintech segments.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Conduct consultative sales processes, including in-depth needs analysis discussions to uncover client challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers within target accounts.
- Lead complex sales cycles from lead generation to closure, managing all aspects of the sales process.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of the company's solutions to prospective clients.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of proven success in sales within the finance or fintech space, with a focus on institutional asset managers and hedge funds.
- Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling, consistently exceeding sales quotas, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the institutional finance and fintech ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions to senior executives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, and results-driven attitude.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and productivity tools (MS Office, Google Suite).
- Based in NYC, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment (minimum a few days per week in the office).
