What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Coordinator position at Storr Office Environments?
Summary
You will oversee daily activities to support the asset management department. This includes receiving customer-owned inventory, cycle counting, database management, pulling customer-owned inventory for shipment, and other duties as assigned. Skills in the areas of organization, warehousing, inventory audit, word processing, automated cycle counts, and barcoding are inherent to this position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Bar code, scan, and place product in the location
- Upload scanners and correct batch errors
- Pull, scan, clean, and stage product for delivery
- Prepare and evaluate Snap Traker inventory reports
- Snap Traker administration
- Manage cycle counts and perform audits
- Oversee problem resolution with planners and installers
- Maintain equipment and supplies.
- Foster a professional attitude, cooperation, and team effort
- Maintain a safe, secure work environment
- Keep dock area clean and organized.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Distribution Team Leader
Special Requirements
- Pass all pre-employment checks

- Proven organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed work environment
- Microsoft Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) experience
- Experience with Snap Traker software preferred
- Office furniture product knowledge preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid North Carolina (or other state issued) driver's license.
