Experienced Maintenance Technician
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for Storyboard Living. The ideal candidate will manage the onsite maintenance operations efficiently and possess a positive attitude.
JOB SUMMARY:
The maintenance technician will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure the inside and outside of the physical structures, apartments, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate turnover of vacant apartments and perform any required maintenance.
Ensure completion of all service requests.
Ensure that service requests are completed, and notification is left in apartments after each service is performed.
Inspect community and apartments on an ongoing basis, recording and correcting deficiencies.
Order supplies and parts within budgetary guidelines and maintain accurate inventory.
Become proficient with property management software and ensure proper entry of all information in the system.
Complete monthly and quarterly preventative maintenance procedures and conduct ongoing inspections.
Responsible for being on-call in the event of an emergency.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
EPA HVAC certification required.
Must have a valid Driver’s License (copy of valid license will be required for personnel file).
Excellent interpersonal skills and oral presentation skills.
Possess exemplary customer service skills and help retain existing residents through great service.
Responsible for being on-call/taking emergency calls as needed seven days a week (on-call schedule is rotational and will vary.)
Computer literate and technology savvy required.
