Position Scope:
The Marketing & CRM Analyst plays a key role in the maintenance, integration, and end-user experience of marketing and CRM technologies. This individual will bring a customer-focused mindset and practical approach to implementing technology to enhance business processes. The Marketing & CRM Analyst resides on the marketing team and supports all business divisions of Stowers Machinery Corporation. You’ll work with Salesforce CRM end users to implement process enhancements, implement campaign attribution strategies, develop reporting and analytics, and automate business processes.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
3 years of experience as a business analyst in the areas of CRM (preferably Salesforce) or sales operations
Ability to discover, document user requirements, and propose changes to CRM, including workflow and user interface with an aim of increasing efficiency and ROI.
Proven ability to manage marketing technologies and tools effectively. Delivery integrated campaign attribution strategies.
Ability to analyze and build marketing performance dashboards and reports utilizing visualization tools such as Salesforce and PowerBI.
Proficient in uncovering actionable insights and translating complex data into strategic recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and work seamlessly within teams.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage projects, resulting in on-time completion and successful achievement of agreed-upon deliverables
Experience documenting and distributing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to end users for business processes
Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and compliance best practices
Preferred Qualification(s):
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Google Analytics GA4 Certification
Education Requirements:
4-year bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, IT, or Marketing
Essential Job Functions:
Operations & Strategy
o Deliver analytical, process, & technology solutions to maximize scale and performance across paid & unpaid marketing channels reflecting industry best practices
o Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, including Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), Fusable, and Google
Analytics, ensuring tools are fully utilized and integrated effectively
o Ensure audience behaviors and signals are accurately tracked and incorporated into digital programs
o Maintain clean and organized marketing & sales databases; provide regular analytics and insights to measure campaign ROI, lead quality, and pipeline contribution
o Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and optimize multi-channel campaigns, focusing on audience segmentation, email automation, and performance tracking
Data Analytics & Reporting
o Design, create, and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement to track key revenue and marketing metrics
o Conduct in-depth analyses across channels to derive actionable insights that inform strategy and drive growth
o Manage the technical components of our paid channels (e.g., setting up pixels and monitoring conversion events)
CRM System Optimization & Adoption
o Partner with stakeholders to execute the tactical roadmap for enhancements to the CRM system (Salesforce)
o Document & communicate business requirements and user stories to IT Application specialists and/or 3rd party developers
o Provide CRM training and ongoing guidance to sales teams, ensuring proficiency in using the CRM system (Salesforce)
o Support new sales team members with onboarding and training on CRM best practices and workflows
o Create reports, dashboards, list views, etc., to assist end users in accomplishing day-to-day tasks
o Monitor usage of and adherence to standard operating procedures for key data sources, business processes, and customer insight tools
o Ensure CRM data quality meets established targets, working closely with cross-functional teams to synchronize and maintain up-to-date records
o Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support end users
Process Optimization
o Develop and refine processes for marketing operations, including lead scoring, nurturing workflows, and funnel optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
o Document processes to enhance collaboration across teams and optimize workflows for sales & marketing
Leadership Responsibilities:
While this role does not include direct managerial responsibilities, the individual will:
o Act as a key contributor in driving initiatives and implementing best practices.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
o Demonstrate accountability and ownership in decision-making processes.
o Mentor and provide guidance to peers or junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
o Effectively communicate goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
2-3 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), marketing automation, lead nurturing, and email communication in B2B SaaS or media companies.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
o Sitting and standing for long periods of time

o Clear and understandable speaking voice for the purposes of telephone communication
o Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
o Occasional stoop, kneel, or crouch

Work Environment:
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment, but exposure to job site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, employees must be careful while performing onsite services.
