Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Loader/Unloader. As a Loader/Unloader, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. The hours are from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM 5 Days a week.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse
- Operate equipment to move materials as needed
- Assist with order picking and building shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the warehouse clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Familiarity with warehouse processes and procedures
- Proficient in operating forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
