What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generator Service Technician (Spring, TX) position at Strada Electric & Security?
Job Summary :
The Generac Generator Service Technician will test / troubleshoot Generac systems, continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance service, troubleshooting, repairs, install and emergency service on Generac Air-Cooled 10-26KW generators.
- Access and accurately identify all defective parts to be ordered.
- Understanding of combustion, gaseous air-cooled engines.
- Communicate information to customers and factory support team in an accurate, factual, and courteous manner.
- Ensure work scope has been performed and generator is operational.
- Write clear and concise service reports.
- Other Duties as assigned by supervision.
