Position: Crew Foreman & Sales Representative
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Operations Management:
- Oversee daily crew activities, including bucket work, climbing operations, and ground crew tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Schedule and allocate tasks based on crew strengths and project requirements.
- Maintain awareness of site conditions and adjust operations as needed to maximize safety and efficiency.
Safety Management:
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Ensure all crew members are equipped with necessary safety gear and training.
Client Communication:
- Engage with clients to discuss project details and address any concerns.
- Collect payments and ensure client satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor crew members, provide training for new hires, and foster a positive team environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Observe crew dynamics and interactions to identify areas for improvement, ensuring a fluent, effective, and efficient workflow.
Job Pricing and Estimation:
- Assess job sites and provide accurate pricing estimates for potential clients.
- Communicate with neighbors or nearby clients to generate additional business opportunities.
- Utilize company software; estimates, scheduling, invoicing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in tree work operations, including climbing, bucket work, and tree removal.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on team development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in the tree work industry.
- ISA certified
-CDL license
