Warehouse Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management, contributing to the overall success of our warehouse operations.

Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers and pallet jacks to facilitate the movement of goods.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and prepared for delivery.
- Fabricate packaging materials as needed to ensure products are secure during transit.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.

Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating cherry pickers, order pickers, and pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes will be beneficial in this role.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
